Departments or project groups that are not served by an IT Service Center must appoint computer managers. To do so, please fill out this application form.

In order to gain access to the standard client HW suppliers of the University of Basel, the computer managers need an account for the existing web shops. This can be applied for with the listed application form at IT-Services. Please send the completed and signed form to administration-its@clutterunibas.ch.

This application is intended for associated institutions of the University of Basel.

Institutions or project groups can apply for a person-independent e-mail address.

Instructions for dealing with function mailboxes and setting up deputies can be foundhere.

Posters may be posted at the ServiceDesk in the proven absence of the Computer Manager and the Deputy Computer Manager. The following conditions apply: All posters are in PDF format on ONE data carrier. Before handing in the data carrier to IT Services, please download this form and hand it in completely filled in with the data carrier. Due to the additional work, however, changed prices will apply. Specifically: The 1st - 3rd poster costs 50.-/ 40.- / 30.- CHF; from the 4th poster a price of 22.- CHF per piece applies. Please note that posters must be paid for in cash on collection. If device or software access to the network of the University of Basel is required (e.g. to be able to store images or other files in a directory), a service access can be requested for this purpose.

Request an additional telephone

It is possible to request an additional telephone. To do so, please fill out the corresponding form(VoIP request) and send it to the ServiceDesk.

Reassigning an existing telephone

It is possible to reassign an existing telephone (including number) to a new person or to depersonalize an existing telephone. To do this, please complete the relevant form(Request for telephone assignment) and send it to the ServiceDesk.

Moving an existing telephone

An existing VoIP telephone can be moved together with other IT equipment (e.g. computers) by the computer managers or the IT Service Center (ITSC). If you want to move an analogue telephone (e.g. radio telephone) or a fax machine, please contact the ServiceDesk.

Change of name

It is possible to adjust the information shown on the telephone display. For example, after a marriage, the name displayed in the top left-hand corner can be changed or the property abbreviation and room number can be adjusted. In this case, please also contact the ServiceDesk.

 

Model 1: Joining the NATEL® go subscription

With a new number: You can have a new number created for your NATEL® go subscription. To do this, fill in the form for model 1. Then send the signed form to your manager.

Transfer from another NATEL® go subscription to the NATEL® go subscription of the University of Basel: If you are already registered with another NATEL® go subscription, you can transfer to the NATEL® go subscription of the University of Basel. To do this, complete the form for model 1 and the transfer declaration. Then send the signed forms to your manager.

Joining the NATEL® go subscription with an existing Swisscom number: If you already have a mobile number with Swisscom, you can transfer it directly to the NATEL® go subscription. To do this, complete the form for model 1 and the transfer declaration. Then send the signed forms to your manager.

Joining the NATEL® go subscription with a number from another provider: You can also transfer a mobile number that is not registered with Swisscom to the NATEL® go subscription. To do this, complete the form for model 1 and the power of attorney form. Then send the signed forms to your manager.

Model 2: Entry into the NATEL® go subscription via an assigned number

With model 2, an existing or new number is automatically allocated. It is therefore sufficient to send the form for model 2 to your manager.

Withdrawal

Fill in the resignation form and send the signed form to the ServiceDesk.

External service providers can request access to the Uninetz in order to maintain and support machines with IP network connections and servers. In this case, however, a contact person at the service provider and an internal contact person must be specified.

This application is intended for persons who are neither employed nor enrolled at the University of Basel and who nevertheless require access authorization (e.g. a separate mailbox). You can find further information here.

The Lecture Room Service, the local computer managers and the staff of the University Library can independently create access authorisations for short-term guests if the need arises. For this purpose, the guest must appear in person (with ID). This request is for a visitor access authorization for a maximum period of three months.


Applications for computer managers

This IT Services service is available to all those departments that require centrally managed storage.

Fill out this form if you are interested in providing a virtual machine.

For research, teaching and cooperation, mail distribution lists can be requested by the persons responsible for computers. If these lists consist exclusively of e-mail addresses of the University of Basel, they are realized by distribution groups in Exchange. However, if external e-mail addresses are involved, then a distribution list will be created in Mailman. In this case, please fill out this request form.

Smaller quantities (up to 10 pieces) can be ordered directly from the Service Desk. For larger quantities, please send an order by e-mail to the Service Desk support-its@clutterunibas.ch.

If network coverage is not complete in your jurisdiction, this form can be used to request additional access points.

UNIprint devices (new or replacement) can be requested via an online form at IT Services. Likewise, the relocation of a UNIprint device can be requested via an online form.

For theDirectPrint function, a written request with the signature of an approver is required. Please complete the form using Adobe Acrobat.

The applications must be completed by the responsible management or ITSC or the Computer Manager.
