The fallout from the Corona crisis was the latest reminder of how important a solid digital onboarding process is in today's workplace. Due to the pandemic, it was no longer possible for some companies to conduct traditional face-to-face onboarding. As a result, many new employees started their new employment mostly or completely in the home office. Alexander Kessinger also found himself in this situation when he started his new job as team leader Identity & Access Management at the University of Basel at the beginning of the year.
