Data protection declaration for the self-registration process for associates and guests of the University of Basel
The University of Basel is subject to the Information and Data Protection Act (IDG) of the Canton of Basel-Stadt and processes your personal data in accordance with the provisions of this law. Where applicable, your personal data will be processed in accordance with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation or, under certain circumstances, in accordance with the data protection regulations of other countries.
Your personal data is processed for the purpose of digital identity allocation and the allocation of access rights to data and systems within the university.
