There are some changes coming in July regarding the Microsoft Office Suite and the Unibas mailbox. Between 06 July and 19 July 2026, Unibas mailboxes of students will be moved to Exchange Online. The migration takes place in the background and only affects people who have not yet been migrated to Exchange Online.

Please take note of the following information and provide your cooperation to ensure a smooth migration. Outlook on the Web can now be accessed at the following address: https://outlook.cloud.microsoft/. After the migration, you will need to re-enter your password in your mail application. In some cases, the mailbox will need to be re-added in the respective mail application. Please follow these instructions.

Furthermore, the Office package as part of Microsoft 365 is now available to you directly via your Unibas account. If you have previously used Microsoft 365 Office via bildung365, you will have already received a separate email with further information regarding the transition.

Please also note that Exchange Online (email), Office Online, OneDrive and Teams may not be used for processing confidential information (Data Class III).
